Cowgirls Cafe in Santa Ana is widely appreciated for its flavorful, well-prepared breakfast and brunch offerings, including standout pancakes, fresh juices, and authentic homemade salsas. The cozy, smaller setting adds to its charm, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The menu reflects a notable Mexican cowboy influence, with bilingual staff contributing to an inclusive dining experience. While food quality and prompt service receive consistent praise, some guests mention variability in the warmth of service, particularly for solo diners. Overall, Cowgirls Cafe is recognized as a reliable spot for hearty, satisfying meals with a distinctive cultural touch, though enhancing personalized customer interactions could elevate the experience further.

Good service, food was delicious. Fresh pressed orange juice and homemade salsas. You can't go wrong trying this place.

The best pancakes ever! The service was not too friendly as they didn’t really welcome or say a fond farewell.. maybe it was because I was just one person? It would be nice if their service was as good as their pancakes..

Really well made diner/cafe with a big inspiration of Mexican cowboys, all the waitresses and waiters speak Spanish and English. The food was well made and arrived quickly. I had the John Wayne Breakfast and Banana Bread

Came from Canada and decided to look up the local breakfast restaurants and this location peeked my interest, more of a cozy, smaller restaurant which always tends to have the best food. Which it did! The food was delicious, eggs were done perfectly to my liking, plenty of home fries, the sausage/bacon was delicious and the pancakes hit the spot! The most impressive thing here was the quality of service, the staff were incredibly kind, fast and courteous, coffee refills were fast and plenty, from the time I ordered , the food must've came within 5 mins, it felt so quick . If I am ever back in California, I'm definitely coming here again

Showed up around 12:30 as a single and waited about 5 minutes to be seated at the small table by the register. Several larger parties got seated in the next few minutes and the place was full and busy. Got some personal attention right away from the hostess, who asked whether I had been here before? I had not, how I found the place? googled breakfast near me, and what I wanted to drink? Coffee black, please. She left the menu from which I ordered the Rodeo, 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and my choice of French Toast out of 3 selections. The other are biscuit and gravy or pancakes. The plate arrived after a short wait and it was hot, fresh and delicious. Had as much coffee as I could stand plus a great glass of OJ. Very nice and filling.

This is my new favorite breakfast spot. The portions are huge and everything was tasty. The onion rings were my favorite

Our first time here, there is no shortage of cowboy pictures and cowgirl decor. This place is busy, but all the people who worked there were super nice and asked if I had been helped already. I placed my order and just took in the ambiance. It's not your basic diner or brunch spot. It had a character of its own. Our to go order was pretty simple today: 1. Country fried steak and eggs with house potatoes and banana bread - Country fried steak was good. Just like you'd expect it to be. House potatoes, the lady who took my order, highly recommended, but potatoes weren't cooked all the way. Banana bread is not something to pass up. 2. County omelette - This was amazing it was hearty and meaty. It had bacon and sausage with chees that had that pull. Hash browns were perfectly cooked, and pancakes were thick and buttery. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend coming early.

Place is great , large portions and affordable and fresh . We stopped after church on Christmas morning and it was busy but not overwhelming. One thing i noticed was my coffee cup was never empty and we never had to flag any server down for questions and mind you it was busy . The server new the menu inside and out was very attentive even went a lil beyond for the kiddos separating these meal which was awesome.
